Here's a screen shot of my monitor. Some time today (and since then) it's been like this. I've tried connecting my computer + the same HDMI cable to another monitor and it seemed to work 100% ok there. So is this means my monitor is now dead? Or can it be fixed with some smart software command, etc? Thanks in advance to any help!
As of about 6:30 a.m. ET on Christmas Day, NORAD says Santa has completed his rounds for this year, stopping in Hawaii and the South Pacific Islands after moving across the United States. Earlier After sending the email last night, I realized that shadowing occurs under and alongside of text, icon, and any image in any screen (even when I turn the pc on) and that should not be because of windows misbehaving. I thought that there might be a problem with the monitor or the monitor cable. The text, icons, images and every other thing displayed on monitor has a shadow to the right edge, Please find the attached image below. I have tried. changing the resolution, screen refresh rate, adjusted the brightness and contrast ; also turned on clear type; with no luck. Should i replace the monitor, is it covered under warrenty ?
Try updating the Display drivers from the manufacturer's website or from Windows update and check if it helps. Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly: Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly qJJsH4.
